How to use the Sage Smudge stick safely

Prepare Your Space: Ensure your space is well-ventilated, with windows or doors open to allow smoke to clear.

Light the Sage: Hold the sage bundle at a 45-degree angle, lighting the tip until it starts to smolder and produce smoke. Gently blow on the flame until only embers are left, creating a steady stream of smoke.

Smudge Your Space: Move through the space you want to cleanse, waving the stick gently to disperse the smoke. Focus on areas like doorways and windows, directing the smoke with slow, circular movements.
- Its recommended to hold a ceramic or fire proof bowl under neath the sage with the other hand whilst it is smoking to catch any ambers, ash that may become loose.

Extinguish Properly: Once finished, press the smudge stick’s tip into a fireproof bowl, sand, dirt or a similar material to extinguish the embers completely. Ensure the stick is fully out before leaving it unattended.
